I seem to love rustic, artisan presentations and to me, this tart is just that. I think you could make this in a dutch oven while camping and the crowd would go silent.

The light and airy texture of brioche blends well with more hearty ingredients like prosciutto and Gruyère cheese. Look for brioche in well-stocked markets or bakeries.

Date Dessert - Grandma Kochersperger

This is a carrot cake made like a pound cake. My Grandmother made it and I continue to make it today. It is great but must have Black Walnuts!
